CAMP FOUNDER & LEAD INSTRUCTOR: MARCELLUS SOMMERVILLE

A Peoria native, Marcellus graduated from Peoria Central in 2001. At Central, he was a 1st Team All-State Selection, as well as the Peoria Journal Star Player of the Year. Ultimately, he finished his college career at Bradley University, where he was a 2nd Team All-MVC Selection and helped lead Bradley to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament. After a 14 year career in professional basketball, Marcellus lives back in Peoria where he is the CEO of the Peoria Friendship House, as well as the founder of Next Generation Academy.

CAMP FOUNDER & LEAD INSTRUCTOR: TREY SCOTTI

A Pekin native, Trey graduated from PCHS in 2013 where he chose to go to Indiana University where he served as a Student-Manager. From 2017-2021, he worked at Xavier University in the Big East Conference where he worked as a Graduate Assistant, Video Coordinator, and Director of Basketball Operations. Currently, Trey Scotti is the Head Coach at The Skills Factory High School Prep, in Atlanta GA where his team was ranked as highly as #16 Nationally in the 2021-2022 season.

A pre-paid $20 camp store card will be available for each camper. This card will allow purchases on snacks, drinks, and merchandise at any point during the camp day. This is to avoid campers from brining and losing cash throughout the day. Each card will displays the campers name, in order to avoid any potential confusion
